With the kickoff of the holiday season, Thanksgiving launches a time of reflection. To truly connect with the energy of this day, step quietly into your heart-space, sit back and observe. As human being, we tend to look at what we "don't have" or what we think may be missing in our lives that would provide true happiness and gratification.
THAT my brothers and sisters, can only come from you. Nothing outside of you will fill the void provided by connection to your very soul, heart and higher self. Give the gift of self-love, self-respect and forgiveness to YOURSELF. For the time being, as we all continue to evolve and step into our true selves, I have a request of you.
Every one of us has so very much to be thankful for. Clothes, food, transporation, housing and even water that we take for granted with each sip and every shower. Fill your heart with the joy of appreciating a bottle of water, a hot shower, a ride in your car, sitting on your couch and resting.
My request is a simple act of kindness from you to someone else, every single day. I'm up for it! Who will be joining me?
Love and Light,
Each one of us is very much needed and we all have our role to play adding to the success of the whole.
In the great symphony of life, we all have important parts to play. While some people are best suited to be conductors or soloists, their contributions would be diminished considerably without the individual musicians that lend their artistry to the fullness of an orchestra. The magical accents of the percussion section might sound random and out of place without the music they accompany. But any one member of an orchestra, doing less than their best at their particular part, can destroy the harmony of the whole piece, such is their importance. So although we may not receive the same amount or quality of attention as another, all of our contributions are valuable and integral to the success of the whole.
When we do our tasks well, we infuse them with our unique energy, making each act a gift. Each of our personalities and talents are suited to different roles of support. Even leaders and star performers support others in their own way. We can look around us at any moment to see that while we nurture some people with our work, others are supporting us with their gifts. Doing any job from this place within us allows us to do our part with humility and gratitude, while also learning lessons that move us steadily toward our goals.
When we can be fully present in every job that we do, we bring the fullness of our bodies, minds and spirits to the moment. Our contribution is enhanced by the infusion of our talents and abilities, and when we give them willingly, they attract the right people and circumstances into our experience. Anything we do begrudgingly limits the flow of our energy and closes us off from the good that is available to us in every situation. But by giving the best in us to make the world around us better, we open ourselves to receive the best from the universe in return.
Healing Light and Love,
We are all spiritual beings living in a human body even though our packaging seems different, we are very much the same.
We have all had the experience of encountering someone whose life seems so completely different from ours that we can almost imagine we have nothing in common. However, if we go deeper into observing, we will see that we all have the same things going on in our lives. It is as if our different lives are in essence the same gift, wrapped in an infinite variety of containers, wrapping paper, ribbons, and bows. Everybody experiences loss, grief, happiness, excitement, anger, and fear. Everyone can have money issues of one kind or another, and everyone struggles with difficult choices.
Our lives show up differently for each one of us because we each learn in different ways. One person may need to learn the value of money by having too little of it, while another may need to learn by having more than enough. We each learn about work and love, with experiences that are tailored to our particular perspective. Even as it appears that some people have it easy while others are in a continual state of struggle, the truth is that we are all learning, and it is very difficult to tell, when looking only at the exterior of a person, what’s going on inside.
This is one of the many things that can be so valuable about cultivating relationships with people from all walks of life. As we get to know those who seem so different from us, we get to really see how much of life’s challenges and joys are universal. We begin to look beyond the packaging of skin color, clothing preferences, and socioeconomic differences, hairstyles, and the cars we drive to the heart of the human experience. It is important to honor and value the differences in our packaging, but it is just as important to honor the gift of life.inside each one of us, and the fact that, no matter how different the packaging, the gift inside is the same. THUS..cultivating the acknowledgement or having conversation with total strangers is what creates a community..in your neighborhood, your country and in the world!...can you get that?..
Your response to all of life’s situations are what create a peaceful, fulfilling and joy filled life! Others lives experiences can support you in moving forward, in healing pain and in taking back your power .

Permission to Forgive Ourselves
Dwelling in guilt is like living your life with an anchor tied to your ankles dragging you down.
Learning to accept the things that we perceive as wrong can be a difficult task for many of us. Often we have been brought up to accept that it is normal to feel guilty about our actions and that by doing so we will make everything seem alright within ourselves. Even though we might feel that we have a reason to make up for the choices we have made, it is much more important for us to learn how to deal with them in a healthy and positive way, such as through forgiveness and understanding.
When we can look back at our past and really assess what has happened, we begin to realize that there are many dimensions to our actions. While feeling guilty might assuage our feelings at first, it is really only a short-term solution. It is all too ironic that being hard on ourselves is the easy way out. If we truly are able to gaze upon our lives through the lens of compassion, however, we will be able to see that there is much more to what we do and have done than we realize. Perhaps we were simply trying to protect ourselves or others and did the best we could at the time, or maybe we thought we had no other recourse and chose a solution in the heat of the moment. Once we can understand that dwelling in our negative feelings will only make us feel worse, we will come to recognize that it is really only through forgiving ourselves that we can transform our feelings and truly heal any resentment we have about our past.
Giving ourselves permission to feel at peace with our past actions is one of the most positive steps we can take toward living a life free from regrets, disappointments, and guilt. The more we are able to remind ourselves that the true path to a peaceful mind and heart is through acceptance of every part of our lives and actions, the more harmony and inner joy we will experience in all aspects of our lives.
Healing Light and Love,
Expressing ourselves honestly in any relationship is essential to our well-being.
When we are in a relationship where we feel listened to and understood, we count ourselves lucky because we know how rare that experience is. We reserve our most intimate selves for the people who, along with us, co-create an open space where we feel free to express ourselves and listen without judgment. These relationships, which thrive on open communication, can mean the difference between existential loneliness and a deep sense of belonging. We all long to feel heard, understood, and loved, and clear communication makes this possible.
Sometimes problems arise in the process of expressing how we feel, but it is always worth it to do the work. Even in our less intimate relationships, expressing ourselves honestly is essential to our sense of well-being. Whether at home with family or in the outside world, successful communication requires some forethought; otherwise we risk blundering through our relationships like the proverbial bull in a china shop. However, too much forethought can stifle us or cause us to pad our words so extremely that we end up saying nothing at all or confusing the matter further. The good news is that there are many methods that can come to our rescue, from meditation to visualization to journaling.
If the person we need to communicate with is open to sitting in meditation together for a set period of time before speaking, this can be invaluable. When we are calm and centered, we can count on ourselves to speak and respond truthfully. We can also meditate on our own time and then practice what we need to say. A visualization in which we sit with the person and lovingly exchange a few words can also be a great precedent to an actual conversation. If writing comes easily, we can write out what we need to say; it may take several drafts, but we will eventually find the words. The key is to find ways to center ourselves so that we communicate meaningfully, lovingly, and wisely. In this way, we honor our companions and create relationships in which there is a genuine sense of understanding and respect.
Light and Love,
Sometimes when we don't feel good enough, we create imbalance by overachieving or needing to be the best at something.
Overachievers are people who have achieved but still feel the need to do more, creating an imbalance in their lives. People who exhibit this behavior may be trying to compensate for feelings of insecurity and doubts about their worth. They may be chasing unresolved issues from their past into the present, or they might not be looking at their lives as a whole, but judging themselves based only on one aspect of their being. If this is a word that we’ve heard used with respect to our choices and lifestyle, it is worth examining in order to balance our lives for a more rewarding experience.
If we find that we cannot allow ourselves to experience and enjoy the present moment, putting pleasure off into some distant future, it may be a sign that we are being driven to achieve more than is truly necessary. Pushing ourselves beyond the point of exhaustion, or to the exclusion of important people in our lives, robs us of true and meaningful joy. Once we make the connection to the eternal part of us, it can nourish us and allow our priorities to shift from chasing after an elusive feeling to being fully present in the moment so that we can live our lives in the now.
Sometimes we need to look to those we love and admire in order to realize what we value about life. We can take time to note what we like about others, and then turn the mirror to reflect the light of those same words and feelings toward ourselves. It can be quite a revelation to see ourselves in this nourishing light. When we can put the energy that we’ve been devoting to a phantom sense of achievement into the truly satisfying aspects of our lives, we can restore tbalance between our inner and outer worlds and experience true joyful peace.
Healing Light and Love,
Here's a powerful exercise to take responsibility for all aspects of your life. YOU are the creator of it all.
1. Find ten minutes to be by yourself. Take three slow deep breaths and relax. Ponder the idea that you are the creator of your universe and that everything you are experiencing in your life you have brought to you. Write down all of your thoughts and emotions that arise when you try to accept this. Do not censor or omit any thought or feeling.
2. Look over the list and for any "negative" that arose, challenge that thought or belief or emotion. For example, when pondering that you have created everything in your life, you may have a thought that goes something like this:
"That's not true. I interact with other people and they do things to me that are out of my control. I am not creating that."
Now challenge that thought:
Every person has all sides to them. They can be loving and kind or mean and spiteful. I know it to be true that I can act differently depending on who I am with and how that person interacts with me. The same is therefore true about them. Is it possible that something in me is bringing out something in them that affects their behavior? Does that mean that I am co-creating in how people behave?
3. Examine the unconscious belief pattern that you hold that caused your initial thought to arise.
In the above example, it becomes clear that by thinking others are doing things to us, we are victims of life.
This is a limiting belief that was learned early on. In traditional psychotherapy we would spend lots of time exploring where that belief came from and understanding how it affects us. This is a very timely course of action and does not address the negative energy pattern of being a victim that is locked into your body. It will be brought to the surface and cleared through a Chios Energy Healing treatment.
4. Make a list of as many limiting beliefs you can discover about yourself.
Watch very carefully how you react to situations, the words you speak quite often to others and your negative self- chatter.
Here are some common limiting beliefs that people carry around. They may help you to uncover yours.
I'm not good enough
I'm not smart enough
I never do anything right
I am a victim
Life is hard
I don't deserve happiness
I deserve to be punished when I do something wrong
I need to be perfect in order to be loved
Know that this is untrue programming. Feel the emotion associated with this thought form, breathe deeply and release.
Healing Love and Light,
Here's a great way to jump-start the flow of appreciation and abundance in your life. If you do the following processes, I promise you'll see powerful results in your life right away.
Think of an important person in your life, and generate a list of 5-10 things you appreciate about that person. Write your appreciations down.
Do the same thing for a second person, and a third.
Generate a list of 5-10 things you appreciate about the world in general.
Generate a list of 5-10 things you appreciate about yourself.
Speak those appreciations to the relevant people. Call, write or visit them in person to deliver your appreciations. For your appreciations about yourself, look yourself in the mirror and speak them. For appreciations about the world, speak them to anyone you come across as you move through the world. In the checkout line recently I said to the clerk, "I really appreciate how much faster these scanning cash registers are. Must be a lot easier than punching in every price." She said, "I never thought about it before, but yes, I'm grateful for that, too."
That's all it takes. We change the world one communication at a time. These activities, done sincerely, open up a field of gratitude around you wherever you go. In that field of gratitude a garden of miracles will grow. …
Healing Light and Love,
The longer we are able to hold a positive thought, the stronger that energy around us becomes.
If we make no effort at all, our thoughts usually scatter in a vast array of directions. They start and stop and move in surprising ways from one second to the next. If we try to follow our thoughts without controlling them, we will be amazed at how truly inconsistent they are. Yet, if we apply our minds to a specific task, especially one that interests us, they gather together and allow us to focus our attention, creating great power and energy. This is what is known as pure thought, because it is undistracted.
The law of attraction—like attracts like—influences all energy, including our thoughts, and this is what makes pure thought so potent. Our undistracted thoughts create a powerful magnet that draws similar energy into our vibrational field. As a result, the longer we are able to hold positive thoughts in our minds, the more powerful the positive energy around us becomes. We don’t need to focus on action and controlling so much when we are surrounded by energy that draws what we want toward us. We can simply respond to the opportunities that naturally come our way. When this is the essence of our experience, we can go with the flow, knowing that we will be okay.
If pure thought is a body, it is our emotions that supply the heart that can really bring it to life. Our thoughts and feelings exist in relation to one another, and they form a feedback loop through which they communicate and empower each other. When we hold a thought in our mind without being distracted, we have achieved pure thought. When we have a positive emotional response to that thought, we enable it to dance and move and breathe itself into existence.
Healing Light and Love,
True beauty radiates from the inside outward. It is not defined by having flawless skin, wearing size 2 jeans, sporting cellulite free legs or a toned butt.
True Beauty ...
.. is the person who shares a smile with a perfect stranger, lends a helping hand to someone in need, listens open-heartedly to a friend in pain, gives love unconditionally, or finds the joy in the small things. And it is my hope that you begin to recognize your true beauty which comes from your heart. Beauty is subjective. It's not about comparisons, but rather recognizing and creating our own true definition of beauty.
So, how do we define beauty within ourselves?
The first step is taking responsibility for ourselves. What does that mean? Well, that means knowing that what you think about you, how you feel about you, what you say about you (and even about others), and how you show up each day is down to you. You are in the driver’s seat. You have choices and options, but in order to see those choices and options you have to create some awareness. Awareness is critical to creating change and to not only radiating beauty from the inside out, but attracting good things to you. There is beauty in taking responsibility for ourselves.
Next, it's being committed to being our most authentic selves. It is all too easy to try and conform, conform to societal expectations or other people's opinions. This only serves to diminish and overshadow our true beauty and it sends a message not only to the world, but to ourselves that who we are just isn't beautiful enough and NOTHING could be farther from the truth. When we can be who we are and know that it is enough, that's when we begin to share our inner beauty.
It's also about realizing that there is no such thing as perfect so it's time to release the pressure and stop striving for perfection. Perfection is just a form of self abuse.. Striving for perfection really equates to (yet again) telling yourself that you aren’t good enough as you are. That’s not only degrading, but it’s deprecating, and it truly stifles your own inner beauty. And lastly, it's being willing to be vulnerable. What does it mean to be vulnerable?
First and foremost, it means accepting that you are amazing, imperfections and all.
It means knowing that you are more than enough now and that you always have been. It means being open to sharing with your whole heart regardless of what others say, do, think or feel.
While it may be scary and while vulnerability gets a bad rap, it’s actually a beautiful place to come from. As difficult as it may be, when we are vulnerable we are able to reach out to others for support and assistance without feeling guilty, and most importantly, we come from our hearts rather than our heads where ego lives.
Please know something, being vulnerable does not mean becoming a doormat or being perceived as weak. As a matter of fact, to be vulnerable requires strength and the internal fortitude to stand strong in your own beliefs and in who you are.
• How do you define beauty?
• Based on your definition, list all the ways in which you are beautiful.
• Lastly, jot down all the things that stand in your way of fully sharing your beauty with the world.
Once you have created awareness, notice the options and the choices that become available to you. Remember, you are responsible and that’s a beautiful thing!
